THE LEGACY OF MICHAEL JACKSON By Adeyinka Makinde

Terry Jervis speaks...
Having worked with Michael Jackson for many years. I am saddened by his death and the reports on news TV that doesn't focus on his amazing contributions, but makes a mockery and plays on his eccentricity! This was not done with Elvis Presley or John Lennon. I want all to know that I was there from 'Victory' to 'Thriller' as he gave me exclusives and access that helped forge my career as a Producer and Director. We both understood breaking boundaries, and that as black men we needed to support each other and inspire a generation. He was truly an amazing person and changed the face of entertainment forever. For those who hounded him and the people who truly have no understanding of the price of fame. Let us thank him for his time on planet Earth wish him serenity on his new journey. May his soul now rest in peace. Terry ran Motown Records in the 80s
